Process

With each assignment, we are committed to maximizing value and exceeding the expectations of our clients.

There is not a “one-size-fits-all” transaction process that will maximize value regardless of the client’s situation – which is why Matrix customizes every transaction process within the confines of the then existing marketplace in order to meet the unique and specific needs of each client. By running a targeted and structured transaction M&A process, we are able to achieve transaction values typically above our quoted valuation range. We pride ourselves on providing flawless execution and offering an intensive, detailed approach to each and every transaction we handle.

Since 1988 we have successfully completed hundreds of merger & acquisition transactions and created hundreds of satisfied clients. We maintain constant communication with the private equity, mezzanine and senior lending markets, and over the years have developed thousands of relationships with these key M&A industry participants.

What our Clients Are saying

  • “Lots of emotions were involved in making our decision to divest. While those emotions are important, there are business interests that need to be organized. Any family business considering to make such a change must have professionals that advise them well in advance of the ultimate sale. I could not dream of attempting a deal alone. The Matrix team are well versed in the intricacies of our industry and gave us good counsel as we navigated the transaction. Additionally, we are happy to call the team friends,”

    Carlton Revere, President and CEO
    Revere Gas, Inc.
  • “The acquisition of Coastal Lumber is an important element in our approach to hardwoods investing and Matrix’s deep  experience in the sector was a key to pushing this transaction over the finish line.”

    Ben DeRosa, Partner

  • “When it came time to market our stores, I wanted to hire the best advisor I could find. I will go through this process of selling our fourth-generation company only once in my life and am confident Matrix was the best partner to help me get it right. Matrix did a fantastic job managing the process from beginning to end, exceeding our expectations every step of the way, and I am extremely pleased with the service they provided. I am delighted to have a fine company like Enmarket purchasing our business and retaining our wonderful, dedicated team of employees while continuing to service our great customers. I thank God for entrusting me to be the steward of this business, blessing it over the years, and putting the people in place to make this transaction successful for all involved.”

    Brab McCully, President
    Brabham Oil Company, Inc.
  • “Having worked for Honey Farms and with the Iandoli family for over 40 years, the sale of the company is bittersweet, but the outcome for the family has been very successful.  I want to thank the Iandoli family and our talented employees whose enduring commitment built an extremely strong company.  Lastly, I want to thank our M&A advisors, Matrix, and our legal counsel, Fletcher Tilton, who did a wonderful job advising the company and the family through this process.”
