This notice is being provided by Matrix Capital Markets Group, Inc. and MCMG Capital Advisors, Inc. collectively (“Matrix” or the “Firm”) because you are a client of the Firm. Pursuant to SEC guidelines, the Firm is required to disclose its policy for keeping personal information on individual clients. These guidelines are oriented toward individual consumer information and the dissemination or sale of that information to third parties. Matrix generally does not possess or collect individual financial information; however, the Firm is committed to keeping any personal or business information collected from the Firm’s potential, current and former clients confidential and secure. The Firm’s policy is to not sell this information to any outside parties.

Client Information
Matrix collects and maintains only information that is necessary for the Firm to provide services requested by you and to administer your business with Matrix. The Firm may collect nonpublic personal information as a result of transactions with the Firm, the Firm’s affiliates or others. This could include information received as part of a private placement of securities, information received as part of the Firm’s merger or acquisition work, or another reason.

Sharing Information
Matrix only shares your nonpublic personal information with non-affiliated companies or individuals as directed by you, permitted by law, to complete due diligence and to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. In the normal course of the Firm’s business, Matrix may disclose information that has been collected about you to vendors or regulators (and the employees of each) that are responsible for certain aspects of the Firm’s business such as:

  1. Recordkeeping
  2. Computer related services
  3. Good faith disclosure to regulators who have regulatory authority over the Firm

Matrix does not provide your personally identifiable information to mailing list vendors or solicitors for any purpose. When Matrix provides personal and business information to a service provider, the Firm requires these providers to agree to safeguard your information, to use the information only for the intended purpose, and to abide by applicable law.

Employee Access to Information
Only employees with a valid business reason have access to your personal information. Matrix employees sign an employment agreement which contains the Firm’s confidentiality policy, and they are required to follow it.

Protection of Information
Matrix maintains security standards to protect your information, whether written, spoken, or electronic and the Firm updates its systems to ensure the protection and integrity of information.

Maintaining Accurate Information

Disclosure of our Privacy Policy
Matrix recognizes and respects the privacy concerns of the Firm’s potential, current and former clients. Matrix is committed to safeguarding this information. As a member of the financial services industry, the Firm is providing this Notice of Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) for informational purposes and will update and distribute the Policy as required by law. The Policy is also available upon request.
