Senior Level
Our senior level team members include Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents.  At the senior level, we offer an aggressive compensation package, equity ownership opportunities, proprietary investment opportunities and a voice in the corporate direction and strategy.  Our senior level professionals assume a leadership role in the firm, ranging from sourcing and executing M&A and capital raising transactions to leading and mentoring a team of professionals.  Offering senior level attention to our clients during every step of the transaction process is paramount to the relationships and trust that we have built with our clients.  As a senior member of our team, your responsibility will be to ensure that our clients are treated with the utmost respect and professionalism, and provided with the absolute best investment banking services.

Associate
Matrix Associates are key members of our transaction teams, responsible for many aspects of each engagement. Our Associates are responsible for the production of marketing presentations, Confidential Information Memoranda, as well as management of the support activities conducted by Analysts and Analyst Interns. This includes financial modeling, valuation analysis, and industry and company research. Associates support and work closely with senior investment banking professionals in developing business prospects and executing transactions. Matrix Associates are expected to quickly assume key roles on transaction teams and are intimately involved in Matrix’s business development initiatives.

Ideal Associate candidates should have prior investment banking experience at an Analyst or Associate level with a respected investment bank or financial services firm.  Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from a top-rated university. An MBA from a top business school and/or a CFA, CPA or other professional industry designation is preferred.

Analyst
Analysts at Matrix play a critical role in providing the highest level of client service. Analysts’ duties include conducting thorough research of businesses, financial statements and various industries. Analysts are also responsible for developing detailed financial models and valuation analyses. Matrix differs from other investment banks in that top quality Analysts are given the opportunity for promotion to an Associate position, normally in conjunction with alternative forms of continuing education, such as the CFA, CPA, ASA and/or executive MBA programs.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from a top-rated university. A degree in business administration with concentrations in finance or accounting is preferred. Exceptional candidates should have prior experience as an analyst from a reputable investment bank or financial services firm.

Summer Intern
Matrix’s Summer Intern Program provides a comprehensive introduction to investment banking and our firm. The program is designed to give interns the opportunity to experience the life of a full-time Analyst. Summer Interns work on live M&A transactions and are provided with training and guidance that enables them to make an impact. Upon joining the firm, Interns are assigned a mentor to lead them through this unique experience, providing feedback, introducing them to the M&A transaction process, and assisting in administrative and workload management issues. Summer Interns may be offered the opportunity for a full-time Analyst position.
