Industry Expertise
Pooja is a member of the Downstream Energy & Convenience Retail Investment Banking group and is responsible for conducting financial, industry, and buyer research, creating valuation and financing models, and preparing selling and private placement memoranda. She interned at Matrix during the summer of 2025 before joining the firm full-time.
Pooja is a graduate from the University of Virginia with a dual degree in Economics and Statistics from the University’s College of Arts and Sciences and a minor in General Business from the McIntire School of Commerce. During her time at UVA, she was the Chief Investment Officer for Smart Woman Securities (SWS), a member of Women in Economics, and a part of the Hoos First community.
